Registration for the 2010/2011 soccer season for the newly formed NORTH VANCOUVER FOOTBALL CLUB is now OPEN. Registration can be accessed from: www.nvfc.ca.

NSSDC Spring break camps 2010

These camps are a concentrated week of soccer giving players an excellent chance to focus on developing their skills under the professional instruction of the NSSDC Staff coaches.

U6-U7 Soccer Camp

This program runs for 2 hours each day and is designed to develop players’ individual skills through progressive recreational games.

U8-U14 Soccer Camp

This is our most popular program, which runs for 3 hours each day and is designed to teach technical proficiency and tactical awareness through the use of exercises and small-sided games.

Boys/girls born 2004/05: Course Code 228615; 9:30am-11:30am; $110
Boys/girls born 2000-2003: Course Code 228616; 9:00am-12:00pm; $120
Boys/girls born 1996-1999: Course Code 228616; 9:00am-12:00pm; $120

Whitecaps FC soccer camps

The Whitecaps FC soccer camps are back this summer! The North Van camp will be the week of Aug. 30 – Sept. 3 at Capilano Park.

Player Development

STRICT BAN ON GRASS FIELD PRACTICES

Because grass fields are so easily damaged, the District of North Vancouver enforces a strict no-practice rule for all grass fields. This encompasses all types of practice, from simple conditioning drills to full-fledged scrimmages. Most LVSA teams respect this rule and help to protect our grass fields by staying off. For those tempted to bypass this rule, please note that teams found practicing on a grass field will automatically lose their grass privileges for the year. The District also levies fines of up to $500 to violators. If you know of anyone practicing on grass fields, please tell them to stop.
